Meet the staff of Thousand Hills The Hague
Sebastiaan van Wessem is the lead pastor at Thousand Hills. He grew up in the city of Hilversum, and has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Theology from Continental Theological Seminary / University of Wales. Sebastiaan is the founder and coordinator of the Europe Advance church planting network and serves as the General Secretary of the Dutch Assemblies of God (VPE). He regularly preaches both in the Netherlands and abroad, visiting places as far apart as the United States, Brazil, Suriname, Spain, Belgium, Austria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Frank Bouwens has been involved in international ministry for many years through the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain. Before returning to the Netherlands in 2004, Frank served at the International Church of Barcelona. In 2004 he returned to The Netherlands to marry his wife Josefine. They have two girls. In that same year they became part of the team that started the International Church of Leiden. Over the past few years, their focus has been to bring growth and stability to this church plant, further equipping it to impact the international population in Leiden. Frank and Josefine are both extremely passionate about sharing the Christian message in Europe, and they look forward to serve as site pastors at Thousand Hills The Hague.
Solomon and Pia Dimitriadis have been church planters in the city of Sarande, Albania. The couple are both of Greek nationality, but Solomon grew up in Germany. Solomon and Pia have 4 children. They came to the Netherlands in 2000 to continue with their theological studies at Tyndale Theological Seminary and at ETF in Leuven. Solomon works part-time with IFES student ministry and serves on the leadership team of Thousand Hills The Hague.
