Life groups are groups of people that meet during the week (with different locations and meeting times) to share life and together, grow in their relationship with God and serve the world around them.
Why would you join one? Life groups are great fun, help you to grow in your relationship with God, are an awesome place to make new friends, give you a more intimate place to belong within the wider church and will help you to serve with the talents God gave you! Life group leaders training
Life groups are great fun, help you to grow in your relationship with God, are an awesome place to make new friends, give you a more intimate place to belong within the wider church and will help you to serve with the talents God gave you!
Life groups are also a priority for Thousand Hills. Why? The bigger you grow, the smaller you need to get. Over the last five years Thousand Hills has grown from a group of 40 people to a church with around 330 attendees on a Sunday morning. To maintain a strong community feeling – which we believe is essential within a church – life groups are the way to go. It is our vision that over 70% of the Thousand Hills community will be part of a life group.
If you are interested in leading a life group, we want to invite you to join the Life Group Leaders training which will be held on 4 Tuesday evenings in January and February:
• 10 January
• 24 January
• 7 February
• 21 February
Joining this training does not mean that I expect you will start a life group right away. It is just a great opportunity to learn more about life groups. If you are interested, please email Koen.
