psalm 23

care

Community is essential to the life of everyone who follows Christ. People need one another, both for company and for someone to share our joys and our sorrows with. In response to this ‘fact of life’, Thousand Hills has some new programmes that will offer both social and pastoral support for anyone in the church family.

Local support

The addresses of everyone in the church will be divided into geographical groups, each of which will have its own specific contact person. This District Contact Person will have the special task of getting to know everyone in their area and offering social and practical help when it is needed. If you are not already in the church database, the best way to register your address is by completing one of the guest cards available on the information table in the church.

Church care

If you are going through difficult times or just need someone to talk to, we welcome you to get in touch with our Church Care team. This is formed by a group of experienced believers who are available to give help and counselling on an individual basis – whether you need somebody to pray with, to talk to, to laugh or cry with, or simply someone to be there with you. You can contact Margaret White, our Church Care Coordinator or the church office. You can also place a request in the box at the information table and we will get back to you.
