giving

Giving is an expression of our love for God and our devotion to the house of God.

You have the opportunity to give in a couple of different ways: your tithe and your offerings. The Bible teaches us that the tithe is an act of worship to the Lord, which is ten percent of our income given to our home church on a regular basis. When we give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.

There are different ways you can send in your tithes and offerings to the church:

  • By filling in an online authorisation form
  • By setting up a wire transfer to the church (see bank details below). You can choose to make this a recurring wire transfer as you set this up in your online banking system.
  • By putting cash in the giving envelopes during Thousand Hills’ services.
  • By using the giving envelopes to authorize the church to deduct a one time or recurring gift directly out of your bank account.

If you consider Thousand Hills to be your home church, we encourage you to give your tithes and offerings through regular bank transfers.

All your tithes and offerings to the church can be deducted from Dutch income tax as Thousand Hills is registered as a charitable (ANBI) organization with the Dutch tax offices.
