The Holy Spirit helps us know God

In this first sermon in the "My Best Friend" series John looks at Jesus' teaching in John 14 about the Holy Spirit. His followers were anxious and afraid because he would leave them, but Jesus let them know that the Holy Spirit would come and take his place.
From this passage we learn that God is present with us by way of the Holy Spirit, our best friend. He helps us on our journey of faith by giving us confidence, by helping us know God better and by giving us peace.
