When you can’t tell your enemies from your friendsJohn Harris, 3 July 2011
Part of the Arrested series, preached at a Sermons in English service
In Acts 23 Paul's bad day gets worse when he is brought before a hostile Sanhedrin. Yet we find that in the midst of these trials and discouragements Paul is able to stand firm. How is he able to do this? John identifies some lessons from Paul about standing with a clear conscience, putting our hope in the resurrected Jesus, and being encouraged in the midst of trials.
