Cave Church
Did you know that the first church is not the church described in Acts 2, but a group of people way back in the Old Testament? It must not have been a pretty sight, the members of that church, call it a cave church. They were in debt, distress and discontent. And David was their leader. Why? Because he was there first and cried the most. Join Andrew McCourt, Senior Pastor of CFC Belfast, as he shares some principles from 1 Samuel 22.
Preached by Andrew McCourt on 29 January 2012 (Sermons in English).
Waarom?
Preached by Andrew McCourt on 29 January 2012 (Preken in het Nederlands).
Doors to a stronger church
Jesus? Most Christians are pretty excited about him. But the church? Not so many. That's a pretty strange thing, because Jesus thinks the church is a pretty big deal, the church as in a group of people under his leadership, not a building or institution. If the church is really to make a difference in the world for Jesus, that has to change. And the key is you and I. Join Sebastiaan van Wessem as he looks at what it means to be planted in God's house from Psalm 92.
Preached by Sebastiaan Van Wessem on 22 January 2012 (Sermons in English).
Deuren naar een sterkere kerk
Jezus?

Doors to a closer relationship with God
Many people are longing for a deeper relationship with God. But God actually is longing for the same thing. He initiates a new and fresh relationship with people, and not only with those who are longing for it, but also with those who are not interested (yet). Jesus stands at our door and knocks. Will you leave your door closed, will you send him away or will you open it up and invite him in? Join Sebastiaan as he zooms in on Revelation 3:20.
Preached by Sebastiaan Van Wessem on 15 January 2012 (Sermons in English).
Preached by Sebastiaan Van Wessem on 15 January 2012 (Preken in het Nederlands).
Doors to new opportunities
At the start of a new year we need to think about what new opportunities God might be giving us. He wants to do a new thing in our lives, in our church and in our community. Join Sebastiaan as he delves into Isaiah 43, a passage where God shows himself to be the God who does a new thing!
Preached by Sebastiaan Van Wessem on 8 January 2012 (Sermons in English).
Encountering Jesus
During the concert with Celebration Worship, John Scott, pastor of Celebration Church in Northern Ireland, shared a message about people doing all they can to encounter Jesus. What difference did Jesus make in their lives? And what difference could they make after Jesus made that difference in them? Translation: Sebastiaan van Wessem
Preached by John Scott on 29 December 2011 (Other events).
Joy (Christmas Day)
The Bible's account of the birth of Jesus includes many people's responses to his birth. On each occasion people respond with joy. The story of Christmas reminds us that when we encounter Jesus we have a reason for hope in our lives, we can be included in God's plans for the world, and we can experience forgiveness and peace all of which lead to joy. Join John Harris for this Christmas Day message. Also, be sure to check out the children's Christmas play during that same service!
Preached by John Harris on 25 December 2011 (Sermons in English).
Searching for Peace (Christmas Eve)
Why did Christ come to the world? That's an important question we need to ask ourselves during the Christmas season. If you look at Luke 2:14 it seems that Jesus may have come to establish world peace. If that's the case, he must have failed miserably. If world peace was not the reason why Jesus came to the world, what kind of peace did he bring? Join Sebastiaan van Wessem as he grapples with that question during this Christmas Eve service.
Preached by Sebastiaan Van Wessem on 24 December 2011 (Sermons in English).
