outreach vision meeting

Are you interested in creating a Servolution in the community around us? Join a special evening at the church on 22 February at 20:00. Jerry and Gabriel will share their vision and some ideas for outreach in 2012. We will also try to plan some concrete steps forward on the start of several projects. You can adopt a project with your life group or a group of friends, or just help out.

Ideas are still very welcome, contact Jerry and explain the idea and how to get it started.

You can also join a few people from Thousand Hills each Saturday at lunch time as they share a lunch with people in need in the streets of Hilversum. Meet the team at 11:30 at the meeting point of the station (snack bar side). If you can’t make it you might want to purchase the food one week. Contact Jerry how you can get involved bringing a Servolution to the streets of Hilversum.

new message series

A new message series called Outward Bound is starting on 5 February. Titus was a young leader of a church on the isle of Crete facing a challenging situation. Paul writes to encourage Titus that as a follower of Jesus and as a leader he is not only called into a relationship with Jesus, but also to live out his God given mission in the world each day.

Join us for this 3 week series as we explore the book of Titus and learn to be outward bound on our mission for Jesus.

evening for moms

Moms Connect is hosting a special evening get-together for all moms tonight. Annemarie Koning, a mom of two boys, will be sharing a story of hope in raising a child with autism. Join us for a fun, informative evening with other moms at the home of Megan van Mill (Graaf Florislaan 24, Hilversum) from 20.00 – 22.00. We look forward to sharing another special evening together. All moms are welcome (no matter the age of your children) Feel free to invite a friend along as well. Come and join in the moms’ night out!

Mom’s Connect is a group for moms of 0-4yrs olds who meet the first Thursday of every month in the church nursery. A time to share and encourage one another and allow the kids to play in a fun environment with others. Contact momsconnect@thousandhills.cc for more details.
